A high quality rifle sling is imperative for accurate shooting!
This sling is of my own design, made by our daughter and son in law.
Leather is utilized to provide firm control, preventing the rifle from deviating up and to the right (e.g. for right hand shooters). Synthetic slings do not provide this level of control.
The sling is 3" diameter at its widest point to spread weight when carrying a rifle.
The front of the sling is secured to a swivel (note swivels are not supplied) by a brass Chicago screw (supplied).
The rear is secured via my own method, using a leather tie of the same thickness as a western saddle tie down. This sturdy friction locking method allows the sling to be adjusted as required without any annoying buckles or simply a rear Chicago screw which cannot be adjusted without tools.
The sling is embossed with our Terminal Ballistics logo, however the logo is subtle rather than being obtrusive and annoying as seems to be the trend among corporates these days.
This sling greatly helps to optimize rifle accuracy - provided one actually uses it to brace the rifle when shooting rather than simply using it as a carry strap. This is one of those purchases in life that you never regret, an ongoing source of pleasure.
