Re: Bino range finder
My advice Trevor is to split your funds. Buy a good bino range finder and a camcorder. Mount the camcorder on a tripod and use this for spotting-not the range finder. Doing this will allow you to review your shots and learn from your mistakes. A camcorder can fast track learning immensely.

A good compromise would be:

Bushnell Fusion bino range finders

Re: Bino range finder
+1 on the Bushnell Fusion bino's.

I have had these bino's for nearly two years and use them alot, I've only just replaced the first battery. The glass is OK, not the best but still plenty good enough. They seem very robust, I travel quite long distances over rough tracks with my bino's in an ali box on the front of my 4 wheeler, they must cop a real hiding but stand up to it just fine. Range out to 1800 yards every time, in any conditions.
Put it this way, if they broke I would buy another pair.

Hi Nathen,
Was only going to be glassing and rangeing with them already have spotting scope but what you suggested makes good sense like you said I could reveiw my shots.
Thanks for your reply,Cheers.

Thanks lazy for your imput I nearly ordered some but thought may aswell do a bit more research first all the stuff on the net can get a tad confusing one person says an item is great and another says there crap but Im sure you would have a pretty good idea as you own them do all the features of the fusion work or do just use them for glassing and rangeing.
Cheers.

Re: Bino range finder
I only use them to range and get the angle to target.
The other features are worthless for REAL long range hunting. Sorry I should have mentioned that but forgot it even has the drop feature!
