Due to the local conditions shooting prone or even seated is not an option. What is the forum members’ experience using tripod and something like Bog Deathgrip. Distances up to 600 m.

Re: Deathgrip
Well... no responses... I'll throw something our for you.

General tripod considerations -
1. the traditional throw lever leg tensioners aren't all that and a bag of chips for shooting use (that's a bag of crisps if you prefer). They can gunk up, wear out, and generally don't necessarily hold up well once you start stressing them with more than a camera under field conditions.
2. CF is nice if you need to save weight and have the coin.
3. Sort of two schools for using a tripod -
a. throw a bag/rest of the head
b. mount the gun to the head (whether it's a stock clamp or ARCA)

In the interest of transferable skills, it might be more advisable to for the former. You pikau or equivalent can serve in that capacity and you can setup on the tripod the same way you would on a fence post, wall, or other barrier/prop. It may also be faster/less hassle in some cases.

With respect to mounting the gun, I've had better luck with ARCA systems than clamping the stock. The ARCA may be a touch fiddlier initially as you engage the rail, but on the plus side they are lower profile/lighter which makes for easier carrying and affords me more flexibility in hand/rifle positioning.

I've been humbled tripod shooting. Yes, the rifle rest is steady, but you're still standing and it's still a challenging position that requires practice to setup and use correctly.
