Dan KeeneI would like to upgrade the X Mark Pro trigger on a Remington 700. I can easily get a Timney or a pre X Mark and get it tuned.Which way to go please guys? |

Nathan FosterRe: Remington 700 TriggersHi Dan, it really comes down to your budget. The Timney is a very good unit, not just for its crisp break off and full weight range, but also, for its very wide trigger, giving a great feel which along with the grooves, allows for excellent control. As for the original Remington trigger, I am going to take a punt and guess that you will able to get this for around 1/4 to 1/3 of the price of the Timney. Its a great savings, the difference being that it will take time to hone it and work it over, getting it into shape. |
