Craig SanfordRe: Holding the forendand a 1.5-2 inch 3-shot group from a bench position. Unrivaled out of the box accuracy, indeed! Finally a little truth in advertising ha! |

David LenziRe: Holding the forendWhile the folks I run across are not likely representative of the American shooting public, Big Green would seem to have a LOT of work in front of them. For my own part, hard to recommend a Remington when Bergara arguably makes the same rifle, only better and at a better price. |

Stanislas GuerraRe: Holding the forendHi,An interesting video of Winning In the Wind related to the subject : https://youtu.be/pmPbRFAR16c The guy is an F-class / PRS shooter. It is a follow-up to a previous shooting technique video. Clearly, F-class / PRS « techniques » do not apply to a lighter / simple hunting rifle. I recently bought a 8x68S barrel and tested It at 250 m after only 7 bullets down the tube at 100 m to set the scope. I wouldn't advice not holding the forend but recoil is not that bad. Howard AudsleyRe: Holding the forendThis is going to fall somewhere between a request and a plea (if I have to I'll drop to my knees and beg) for Nathan to start a youtube video series on all the topics in his books.......starting with the shooting fundamentals. Basically each video covering one of the short chapters or segments from his books. Sling......hold the forend........wide and high etc.Such information doesn't exist on youtube, and is desperately needed. And do not pull punches.........be as blunt as in the books. |

Nathan FosterRe: Holding the forendHi Howard, the books generate our main income stream. If I was to make videos for youtube, people would watch the free videos instead of buying the books.I have worked very hard to bring my readers something of value and I continue to work on producing thoroughly researched info. My next publications will hopefully be legacy publications. That is to say, regardless of new technologies, the reader will hopefully be able to use the info long after I am gone and the books are seemingly outdated versus whatever brand is current. I refuse to use google adwords as a revenue stream. Please see the about us tab on this website to understand why. Don't feed bears and most certainly don't feed giant corporates. I may continue with the vimeo videos. I have already started these (see video learning tab of website). But please understand, the research is very time consuming. I simply cannot cover all bases. I do understand the usefulness of videos such as - how to pull the starter motor from my quad bike and change the brushes. A short helpful video. But as I said, I need some form of income stream to provide for my family. |

Howard AudsleyRe: Holding the forendI was thinking you could use the videos as a form of "tease" to get people interested so they would visit your site and buy the books. Your content is certainly unique......I've benefited from it and am certain others could too......if only they knew about it. I mention and reference it to others all the time, but don't know how many follow up on it. I'm only aware of your work as I stumbled upon your website a few years back....mostly by accident.I know some people make pretty good income off youtube......but have no clue how it works.......but I suspect you do and if you have looked into it and have made the call not to go down that road, then that.....as they say.....is that. |
