Andrew MurrayHi all,Has anyone had experience with Swan Barrels located in QLD Australia? I'm looking to re-barrel my 303 and this name came up, it's close to home which is a bonus but only if they are worthwhile. Happy to take some recommendations for Brisbane-ish gunsmiths. Cheers, Andrew |

mark whiteleyRe: Allan Swan Rifle Barrelshave seen faults in the rifling in swan barrels with a bore scope when discussing what barrel to use with my Smith as if they have poor quality control that made me look at the IBI barrels sold by cleaver firearms in QLD that are in every way a very high quality match grade barrel that my Smith said at the time in all the name barrels he has had setup in his lathe none have ever been as straight as these after he chambered three different barrels for me, he thought the first may be a one off but happily he said they were all as good as the first. l can also say that all shoot very well, all well under 1/4 moa consistently. l hope this is of help |
