In this fifth installment of the Tikka rifle accuracy series, we break the rifle out of its bedding and clean it up, using various tools to achieve a functional yet aesthetically pleasing accuracy platform.
Following this, the rifle is taken to the rifle range to be test fired with hand loads. This final section covers some basic trouble shooting, going over the realities of rifle accuracy.
The Tikka T3 series includes:
1. Set up, barrel break in and test shoot of factory rifle including vital aspects of technique in order to obtain accurate test results.
2. Stabilizing the forend in preparation for bedding.
3. Making pillars uniquely suited to the T3 design in a DIY setting. Again in preparation for bedding.
