I had considered posting this in medium and large game hunting but I don't think it really fit well there....

Basically a scientist on a government advisory panel quit after the government ignored the panel's advice on culling wild brumbies in Australia's alpine regions.

He said he could not give his time and effort any more to be wilfully ignored and have our government cause our collective futures to dull for their disdain of science.

Bravo to the man.
