Nice shot.

So, what is it? You say "stag", is this a Red deer or a kiwi elk or what?

The antlers are reminiscent of wapiti, so curious as to whether this species has ivory as well?

I was sneaking up a slope through some tea tree really slow looking looking looking.........could smell him!!!!
To my center right the mound of dirt under a low tree moved and changed shape..... sitting facing away from me looking down into the creek was this nice Red Deer Stag 20meters away. I drilled him in the back of his head with a 140gn Partition development load for the 6.5x55 swede. was in Sept 2015..... He didn't get up!!!!
