Warwick MarflittLol. The piston speed of a 2.25 4cyl Landrover @ 4280 rpm is 2,500 ft /min! (41.66fps)What you have to remember is that they where built as an Expeditionary vehicle. Driven like a donkey and cart over rough terrain you'll get to your destination every time. Drive like a Cock chasing a hen and you deserve to fail! Low range first gear idle and you'll get nearly vertical and they ride like a Rolls Royce with 16 psi in the tires on rough roads and river beds. They need to be on 750/16 SAT original tires not 15 Inch car tires . Ergh! Hijacked my own thread.... Keep your rides coming guys? |
