I’ve had some time on my hands with a his virus holiday.
But no access to my normal tool or workshop set up. So with a few budget tools and elbow grease i’ve got this far. Using RWL and 12c27

That is crafty work. Long/Depth to the cuting edge from from back edge.
For handles would a riveted bakelite material provide all season strength?

RWL34 is my fav of all steels but both are good, so with the right HT, you'll be laughing.
