thomas kitchenlooking at getting a range finder the bushnell g force dx 1300 arc model has caught my eye (the price more then anything) just wondering if anyone has used one before or has opinion bout them? |

Nathan FosterRe: bushnell range finders?Hi Thomas, I have not used this model yet. It looks like a basic upgrade of the Yardage pro.One thing to understand is that laser range finders are heavily patented. Bushnell in turn came up with a good design early in the piece and thus secured the market while setting a bench mark. Hence why you don't see a Sightron BRF etc. It is basically hard to beat the basic Bushnell design. Or putting in another way, it is hard to design something that is slightly different (to get around the patent) that yields similar optimum performance. I hope that helps. |
