Greetings. Hope this finds you well in this tumultuous world. Before posting this I did search here for information. Not found. Pls forgive my missing it if it is here.

My good friend is looking at purchasing a new Schmidt & Bender Klassic 3x12x42. FFP - illuminated. Made in Germany. He's asked for my opinion. I have no first hand experience to share with him above what I've read - their having a good reputation. Use? Whitetaild to Elk / Moose inside 400 yards. - on his 30-06.

Requesting your first-hand experience / input on 1) this scope, and 2) FFP? Neither of us have ever owned a FFP scope. No bias here, just looking for key advantages / disadvantages.
