Has anyone tested the new Hornady ELD or ELD-X (match) bullets? They rate them with a higher B.C. because the tip doesn't deform due to in-flight heat. I've inquired of Hornady if the construction is the same as the current A-Max but have not had a reply yet. Sorry, I see the other thread on this. I misquoted the Hornady info, the X version being the hunting bullet and the match version IS the A-Max with the new tip. I'll let you know about anything new I hear from Hornady. David |
