You use one layer of tape on top and one layer on the rear then put thin smear of glue on tape and set into action trim off tape that can be seen sticking out from action. This is lowered into compound like that and when broken out the lug is left in the stock. Hope this makes sense
Yes I believe I see it now after having a look at the other thread. I read the instructions as relieving the entire back of the lug which made no sense to me but relieving the rear interface with the action does of course.
