not sure where your getting 168gr .277 amax's from?? i would love hornady to do amax's in 270.
i am big fan of my 270win but the 277 bore is an odd one thats not overly well looked after with high bc projectiles.
anything is possible but you got to workout if its worth it.
the 264 win mag might be a good option.
