Brendon Greighi guys I am going to put a timney trigger on my Remington model 700 was just wondering if there is much difference between the stranded and the calvin other than the calvin being able to set down to a much lighter pull weight |

Chris McKoyRe: timney triggersI haven't used a calivin (or even heard of them for that matter) but I have put Timney triggers on all my M700 rifles and safely adjusted them to just under 1 pound. I have no complaints. |

Brendon GreigRe: timney triggersthanks, The timney calvin I think is made from alloy and has a protective coating on it and is adjustable down to about 8oz and is about $130 more but I think ill be using the stranded trigger my Remington trigger is very heavy and I'm not really interested in mucking around with it when you can get a better one off the shelf |
