Varget powder for 7x57 and 162 A-Max bullets

I have been using IMR 4064 with the 162 A-Max bullet in my 7x57 Ruger No. 1A with acceptable accuracy. Finally I found some Varget powder for the 7x57 and would like to try it. But none of my reloading manuals lists Varget for the 162 A-Max. If some of you have had experience
loading Varget for the 162 A-Max would you please give me your thoughts on such loads. Thanks.

Hi John, you can use 4064 data (your personal data or book data). The burn rates are pretty much the same. No need to back off to any great extent if using your own data. Starting 1.5 grains lower than your current 4064 load is ample.

Varget is a very safe powder to work with and highly temperature stable (within reason).

Thank you Nathan. I will use 41.1 grains of Varget behind the
162 A-Max bullet.
