Great looking rig. How well does it shoot and what load are you using?

Hi Jim

It's only had eight break in shots through it so far by my gunsmith.
Copper fouling doesn't look bad. I had a look down the new barrel after breaking in with a bore scope and fowling was o.k and no chatter marks in the barrel. Once on paper his three shot group at 110yards was 25mm with factory ammo. He said the stock was way too short for him and he had trouble shooting it well. So now the fun starts.
I'm re-reading Nathans book on re-loading ammo to make sure I get all the finer points. I'm unsure weather to try 117gr Hornady SST or Speer 120gr btsp for my hunting load to develop. A few people on other forums doubt the Speer btsp BC of .480 as stated on their web site. So not sure which way to go. I have AR 2217 which going by re-load data is one of the better powders for the heavier projectiles.
Will post results once I get my loads sorted.

Bugger, just weighed my rifle 11.3lb (5.1kg) without the bolt.
It should be steady.
