I am a little confused and could use some help.

I am new to the forum and this is my first post
I have used several ballistic calculators (Hornady, Nikon, Ballistica, Ballistic Calculator & others) and seem to get conflicting information from program to program.
So my question is two fold...
1) What is the best ballistic calculator for PC and/or smartphone.
2) Or can someone provide me with the sight in range (& chart) for shooting a Barnes Vor-TX .300 ACC 110 grain. MV 2280, BC .289, Sight Height 2.75", 25 - 200 yards.
Thank you all for the help.

Hi Charles, I generally use Sierra I6.

If you are using a phone, you could try "Shooter".

Could I please have your general altitude. I will try to knock up a drop chart for you. Am very busy but will see what can be done.

What kind of scope are you using and how is the reticle calibrated (mil dots?, 1 MOA hash marks? 2 MOA hash marks?).

The final book in my series will focus on the issues of field work and will include such subjects as drop charts and field shooting technique.

From what I've read, seems a lot of the "sniper" guys are using http://jbmballistics.com/ballistics/calculators/calculators.shtml

Seems to match up well with the data on the "shooter" app. This app is essentially the same as the "Applied Ballistics" app but for FREE on android.

if you have an Apple iPhone or an iPad, my favourite app is iSnipe.

I also have most of the rest of them, including Nathan's Shooter App, but this one works for me.

Available on the Apple App store.
