Primers

Hi everyone,
I have been using Federal 205 & 210 primers but they are getting harder and more expensive to get, so I am wanting to know if their is a primer I should steer clear of and what is recommended. Can get CCI 200 and 400 for quite a bit cheaper and very available. Thanks for advice offered.

Hi Wayne, burn rates for CCI and federal are about the same so yes, go with CCI. My last tests showed no differences in velocity so you will not have to drop loads by more than a half grain before working back up through sweet spots to test. I have not performed thorough ES comparisons yet.
