The Knowledge Base

Just want to say what a great resource it is. I've only dipped into it so far and read up on the 243, 25-06, 270 and 280, but this is a real eye opener for someone like me with very little experience.

can't wait for the next slug on the 30 cals and above.

btw, in the 270 table for suggested sight settings, load 8 has some missing data. Bt path appears twice, when the second line should be giving distances.

Wow. It is great to find a source of real data and not just a composite of other people's published work. I found this site tonight, but will be returning to absorb as much as I can. I hope your servers are friendly because the only thing keeping them from getting overloaded is people not yet discovering how much good information is available here.

Respectfully.

Re: The Knowledge Base
Hi Ryan, thanks, thats really kind of you to say, especially after a hard run, hoping it is all worthwhile, such comments provide me with continued motivation.

I am still balancing rifle work and the need to put food on the table with the long term goals of the knowledge base. I hope to put a few of the .300 magnums up online in one lump when I have the time over the coming weeks. These will include the .300 H&H, .308 Norma, .300 Winchester Magnum and .300 Weatherby. Following this, will be the newer .300 magnums and then on to the other calibers.

Anyway, thanks again.

Nathan.
