Bedding a cerakoted barrel and action

Can you bed a rifle that has a cerakoted action and barrel .

Hi Drew, although less than ideal, you can bed metal work that has been spray painted.

Provided the prep and paint are sound and provided one uses a good release agent for bedding, one can achieve a sound bedding job.

If however the paint is weak or should the epoxy seep through the release agent, the paint may chip off the receiver. This may not effect the overall bedding platform but may leave the receiver looking somewhat unsightly.
