Tips for bedding Howa 1500 Action with Heavy barrel???

Justin McLeodHi all,Just getting ready to bed my Howa 223 with match grade bedding (and stiffen the fore-end as well). All of a sudden i'm nervous because i've been reading that they aren't so straight forward to get a good result! Anyone got any tips? Particularly how should i mask up the trigger end of the flat surfaced action? Seems to be a few slots & holes and if i mask them all i wont be leaving much surface area to contact bedding compound in that area? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks |
