Kimber pro varmint

I was wondering what you guys think of this rifle, with the idea of a rebarrel into something bigger when it is worn out. I know Nathan is not a fan of the light kimbers, but what do you reckon about these ones.

I have a friend who shoots light comp with a Pro Varmint, it is a very good rifle.

If you want to rebarrel to something bigger like .308, make sure the magazine can be unblocked (I can't remember the layout but probably basic M700), then employ an M700 .308 follower. Bolt face work should be fairly straight forwards.
