jason

haven't posted for a while and I'm waiting for mechanical assistance.

iv moved into the latest and greatest fly killing weapon. the bug a salt.
it's a pump gun with a mag that holds about 80 rounds I'm told, of salt. I opted for the one with laser sight.
for big game, blow fly... max range is pretty poor for instant kills, maybe 200 mm with a good shot. other wise your looking at a few rounds to finish the job. which tends to be the case when your in the zone and a bit trigger happy anyway.
house flies maybe a foot. two feet distance max.
this is with regular table salt, I haven't yet tried the superformance salt yet.
the gun isn't bad but I found the safety a pain, having to let off every time you cock it.
the simple fix is a self tapping screw to hold the saftey off.
this keeps the fun going then your in the zone, rapid firing.
a good bit of fun in all. it's never going to be a 7mm rem mag on flies but its sporting enough and a good bit of fun.
and that's my review.

The Flies surprise. Home made rubber band gun. Deadly accurate and snots
Flies out to 5 meters. Depending on your choice of ammo. Funny how some things
Transfer across to different fields. Rubber band ballistics too. Barrel lengths should be set to suit your stretched band length. Great for keeping the eye in and to teach kids about shooting. Make it at home and share some shed time with your younglings.
WARNING..... Flies leave marks on the roof, walls and windows. Clean up immediately or Mothers wraith will have to be endured....😊
