Thomas KitchenDan you probably remember when it was announced on the wireless that the british army was looking at replacing the lee enfield after the boer war with a mauser style bolt action.
did you jump on your penny-farthing to go tell your friends.
you know its looking a million bucks now after a rebluing specially for 100 year old action, they are well made actions, would be nice to have a 35/303 built on one hmmm.
i thought Nathan would want a nice browning, with an ultra light carbon fiber stock with skinny forend to save weight, maybe a nice no1 profile carbon wrapped barrel in a hard hitting magnum like 6.5 creedmoor.
sounds like the practical is going from strength to strength, it'll be saami spec'd next.
i think a trued 700 with a wyatt magazine and a precision platform stock would be hard to beat.
would like to see cz up there game bit more maybe offer it in stainless and work on their fit and finish bit more.
also the zoli rifle which a meant to be an evolution of the husky 1900 rifle could have some potential.
warwick there's a 358 norma mag and a 35 sta (full length 375h&h blown out) but none in 300win mag length that i know of. there is a 35 umt which is a 35/300rum which must just be crazy
