Does brass age-anneal?

Nathan's books talk about the annealing that can occur passively over time in bullets as they get old. Has anyone observed similar effect on brass? Anything that creates an observable difference in the reloading and shooting processes?

No, just the opposite. Brass work hardens from firing and resizing. If you mean does it soften from just sitting; I don't believe so. -Ed

Thanks, Ed. The second part was what I was getting at - whether it hardens if it just sits unfired for some years.

Softens, rather. My bad.
