Andrew MurrayHi all,Just after some advice for 22LR ammo. Have been using some unknown Winchester stuff that is not giving good results. Have had good results with the 40gr PowerPoint HP from Winchester. Any suggestions kindly noted. I would love to know some good subs as well because I am shooting at 100yds so if I can eliminate the transonic element it may help bring groups in. The suff I am using at the moment is producing 2 and 3 inch groups. I was even sitting on a bench today with minimal to no wind and still had wide groups, I'll post photos later. Have had the rifle do sub moa groups on the 40gr PP. Cheers 😀 |

Clive JuddRe: SuggestionsHi Andrew,Iv had reasonable accuracy from CCl subs, with some rifle's liking them more than others, and they are my first 'go to'. The best accuracy from Lapua target offerings, but they cost more....had a Remington target .22 of some kind, tight chamber, shot everything well but the lapua's were ace, im talking 0.5moa. Unfortunately you will simply have to try as much different ammo as possible. Worth talking with other people who have the same rifle...and borrowing other peoples left overs :) |
