The Joys of Shooting a .22....

All the fckng groups look like this!!! Ahh, a balm for my self-esteem...jaja. Just kidding.

On a serious note, this Anschütz is the size of a centerfire, so a third gun to always have on the range, and a second "hack" as per the book series. So my setup starts looking like: .300WM, .270 Win, .22 - or .300WM, .22-250 and .22.

Saludos from Mexico!

Ricardo.

Nice going, Ricardo. Funny, I just now put a new stock on my 10-22 and was taking a break and found your post. Picked up Hogue for dirt cheap, and it was an easy fit, a perfect drop in. I put one of my old 4X Leupolds on it and the next time at the range, it's going to do some shooting. With any luck it will close to what you're getting for group size, but I'm not holding my breath.

Thanks for the post!

I'm also seriously starting to think about acquiring a .22 for some plinking and just a way of spending lots of time behind a rifle in an affordable platform. And of course have lots of fun doing it haha.

All the best and thank you for the post!

Love shooting a 22. Ammo can be a bit pricey now and scarce but it is still good fun. Best way to learning about trajectory is shooting a 22.

On way I foound around the .22LR ammo scarcity - I found a source for Lapua TenX and bought 5000 rounds a couple years ago for my Ruger 10/22 and my Anshutz rifles. Have not run out yet and lots of time if I need to look for more.

Nice one man.

I'm hoping to have some like that very soon. Now that scope is dialled in I'm pretty sure that it will be on very soon! Going to try and head out again on Wednesday.
