Just wondering what members think of this interesting how they use light riflein in the throat to alow the bullet to gain speed as it builds pressure

Re: 260 terminator
Was wondering how it would work in the rifles with long throats and as Nathan states in his books where bullets have free flight to the rifling

Re: 260 terminator
re reading the article it talks about the design being in the reamer.

if we look at this picture you'll see where it says free travel?this is the leade i think they still have this but there reamer would be longer with a kinder cone like / taper flutes at the front that would take a little of the lands in front of the leade slowly tapering down to Nothing / normal diameter bore.
i hope that make sense, its the way i picture they have done it but i could be wrong.

Re: 260 terminator
Thanks for sharing Brendon, this is an interesting design, partial rather than full freebore. This could also work well for the RUMS as a custom throat design.

It would certainly take some experimentation to get this right and to match it to specific bullet designs or a group of bullet designs. He must have been very busy.
