i know the power at be just want to make cars safer and cleaner but how long before our hunting wagons are just glorified car's.
you can't even get a second gear lever anymore just buttons and dials.
you won't even be able to pull a mates truck out while giving him crap about his driving anymore, without fear of setting off his airbag.

Hey Thomas. We're being technologically castrated, emotionally lobotomized and Digitally colonised! In our homes at work and in every day life. We are being monitored recorded traced and used to find more ways to control how we live and what we do. The future's not looking good for the "Red Indian" Where have all my Buffalo gone?
I saw the future coming in a dream and I took a picture ......

I showed him to my friends and warned them to beware. They laughed at me and called me stupid and old fashioned. So I climbed into my little truck , turned on the ignition key

pulled out the choke, pushed the starter button legged the clutch, selected first gear and drove away. Watching history repeatedly repeating in the rear view mirror! The Foolish Idiwinked Hoodiots ? Getting smaller as I drove further away until I could not see the past anymore. Just dust and blue smoke! I pushed in the choke and the blue smoke disappeared. I set course for the heart of the sun dismayed that the powers that be had no tears to cry and zero feelings left. It was apparent that as a species we have amused ourselves to death?
" Where's your shame f*#@ers ? You've left us up to our necks in it" .
So now is it too late! Has man has lost his way. Eating up all the flesh from all the earth? Eh! How we gonna work this out? I thought !

no worries warwick i was wondering what you were going to say on the matter.
i feel we are getting to the stage where we are trying to make things safe for the lowest denominator in society, don't get me wrong safety is a good thing but so is learning risk in life and management of said risks.
guess best thing is to adopt a positive frame of mind and hope for the best not point stressing about where we are heading.
your landy's sure look nice.
i looked at one before i brought my mazda but it had the nissan diesel in it and was only 2wd decided with the amount of highway k's i do, some creature comforts are nice aswell.

Cheers Thomas. Good call avoiding a cannibalised Land Rover.
There's millions of dollars to be made from industry by these Parasite industry's? They don't add anything financially to a business! Only additional costs. If you really want to make sure that your population are safe and live to pay taxes! You'd have more success teaching kids at school all of the safety issues and how to avoid dangerous situations with electrical, fire, gasses etc before they even entered the work force. Throw in some STRATEGIC THINKING CLASSES and the results would be a personally responsible, thinking, self confident, serious, human and a better society ? Yeah I'm dreaming I know! People like that won't work for shit wages and crap Corporates. Or get sucked into high interest loans. Go figure that out?
Sorry Thomas but.... I'm going for a ride in the Mazda! Just doesn't create the same mental imagery of wild rugged adventure AS " I'm going for a ride in the "Land Rover"
? It's the open air vents, rough riding ,hard cornering...It makes getting there an adventure in itself! It makes them feel like a good old hunting dog. Or a mate with an opinion and attitude? And hey mate? What's a broken axel between friends eh? Na! I haven't snapped one in 30 years.
I'm an Auto Sparky.... I know we'll my positives and me negatives. I just see what most people don't care or like to see. It's quite funny how stupid some people are?
Have a good week mate. I'm getting excited about the 35 Whelen build.
BOOM! THWHACK Thud! (*!*) Yea Food......Keep your powder dry son!.
