Warwick MarflittRe: Whose had Covid and recovered? So in a Global pandemic and None of us have been Inflicted by it??? I can't seam to find a person who has a video blog of them dealing with their Covid infection and recovery? It hasn't killed everyone who've had it. And I woulda thought that somewhere someone would have filmed it and posted it online? If I can't find one then whats going on? Surely 1 tech savvy human of the 7.8 Billion people would have recorded it? I just would like to know what it was like from them???? |

Joshua MayfieldRe: Whose had Covid and recovered?Hi Warwick, I have not had it. I supervise 26 employees and sitting here doing a quick mental count I come up with 10 who've had it. Two got sick enough that I thought we might lose them. Both, thank God, did eventually recover. A couple were totally asymptomatic. Most say it was like the flu, some comparing it to normal flu, some saying it was like the flu but much worse. One poor guy not only lost his senses of smell and taste for months, but when they started coming back some scents that he knew he liked (wife's cooking) would cause him to vomit. Some foods that he knew he liked he just couldn't tolerate. He's still returning to normal but not all the way back yet and he contracted the virus over a year ago. I have a friend in the hospital now with it who does not look like he's going to make it. He is about sixty and led a very hard life when he was young, so maybe that contributes, who knows. Either way, it's not looking good for him. |

Lane SalvatoRe: Whose had Covid and recovered?I had a bad case of it last December. I was diagnosed on the 4th and went into the hospital about 1 am on the 5th. I was on oxygen for 3 days and did about 2 months of recovery. I had to retrain my lungs to move and my muscles are still very weak. They gave me that little plastic thing with the mouthpiece and ball and told me to balance that ball like a seal as long as I could. So I did it.I have weird problems with my sense of smell now with onions smelling more like rotted cabbage. The big thing is leg muscle fatigue. It's hard to get them going. Thus far my heart took no damage and I didn't suffer from any clots. |
