Paul LevermanRe: A Honda Trail 90?Where do I start? The hottest, driest summer on record. That's what they told us in April. Turns out it was the coldest, wettest that I can remember. Lying ninglephuts. We have so much standing water in the fields gumboots (Wellies?) are needed just to take the pup out for a pee and a poop. And along with all this rain, comes the wind of course. So that means no shooting. So, you can probably gather that it's not been fun this summer. But other than that, it's been ok. Pup is nine months old now. Probably has a dozen or more words in her vocabulary. Starting to work on sequential commands and she's doing well with them. Can't get her to "speak" on command, though. That's the toughest one. Sooner or later, I'll figure it out. Zeroed in the 22 with some sub-sonics, and we will take her out for grouse here real soon, maybe this weekend. Bear season is open now, going to try her with some tracking to see how she does. We just ate the last of the pepperoni tonight. Where do I finish? Right here.And you? |
