Happy Turkey Day!

Smell that? That's farm fresh turkey in the oven, stuffed silly with breads and herbs, basted with it's own juice. The gravy will be thick and rich (I always get confused: is gravy a food group or a beverage?), the spuds creamy white. Candied yams in butter, so sweet they make your teeth itch. And to top it all off, just to make sure you really hurt when you leave the table, a lemon meringue pie that's twice the height of the pie plate it was cooked in.

Happy Thanksgiving, all! And remember why we call it this.
