Any experience with NXS - 5.5-22x50mm - .1 Mil-Radian - Mil-R

I am in the market for a new scope for my 270wby Sako AV. I have been looking at the leupold VX6 3-18x50 and also the NF SHV models. The leupolds have good eyerelief but limited reticle choices, the NF SHVs have shorter eyerelief than the NXS models, and are not available with a 50' bell.

I need as much eyerelief as possible because of the riflestock being a monte carlo style, original, laminated Sako stock.

I'm aware of the sightron SIII models, but thinking that going the full route for a "big" scope, I might as well try NF, tough its gonna hurt my wallet.

Anyone have experience with this scope??

I assume this is for hunting. What distance might you encounter?

In any event I personally like your choice of scope for longer range shooting.
If you may not require the higher magnification I would strongly recommend the Compact 2.5-10x44 with Zero Stop as a great al around hunting scope of extremely high quality.

A lower priced scope line you no doubt have read about on this site is the Sightron SIII 6-24x50 scopes. Those are also quite good and half the price of the NF scopes. For a more compact one I like the 3.5-10x44 both scopes in Mildot reticle with Mil/cm turret adjustments as in the two NF scopes above.
