Nathan FosterRe: Case trimmingIt pays to do your sizing first as this helps the case maintain concentricity on the collet while also removing any interference from primer protrusion. If you had a lee trimmer, you would have no choice as the primer has to be removed in order for the pilot to work.Regardless, the .308 is one of the most forgiving case designs you will ever come across. A good rifle will shoot sub half inch with cases of differing lengths, weights and neck thicknesses. It really is a good cartridge to work with. Anyway, what are you doing at home reloading, its perfect long range pig weather! |
