Hi guys was wondering how different people carry there GPS and locator beacons I have in a bum bag on a belt and have them attached to a lanyard with a small clip so they cant fall out as i don't trust the neoprene pouches they come in and there's not much point having them in your day pack if you go ass over kite down a bank or whatever and loose your day pack (it is recommended that you carry your locator beacon on your body for that reason) but i find the bum bag annoying sometimes with the day pack,I have to wear a belt to keep my pants up cant stand them slipping down like these kids in town with there ass hanging out they always look like they need a good kick in the ass, so have my bum bag on this belt but then its stuck between the belt loops, so was wondering if anyone has some sort of set up like braces ect
Cheers for any reply's

Re: GPS and Rescue beacon
hi brendon
i don't have an ELB i should get one as i hunt alone a fair bit but its one of those that never seems high on the list of things to get.
i have a gps pouch that i have used for years now, got it from trademe back when there was plenty of stuff advertised for the garmin astro. i do know circle M brand does a leather one.
the last photo is what i normally use pig hunting (i normally just change to a boning knife for rifle hunting) but lately i have been using a backpack, i did have one of the bigger ridgeline pouches but it started to rip through plus it would bounce around a bit, thinking of trying a bumbag instead of pouches sometime soon. i have also have thought about braces, think badlands use to do a bum bag with braces type straps

Re: GPS and Rescue beacon
Hi guys.
My Blackfoot camo (best camo) shirt has two chest pockets, I loop the GPS lanyard through the button hole & keep it in the pocket, S4 gear Bino harness, belt and knife and light backpack with hydro bladder to carry venison out. The pack has a pockets on the outside, I carry a compass, first aid kit (handy when my scope bit me last week) and a snake bite kit, a few muesli bars and dried fruit.
