Has anyone used large rifle primers in the 300 wsm. I'm getting great groups but would like to get es down. The practical I have is using large rifle primers and doing great. Just wondering if the short fat cases would benefit from non mag primers or not.

Re: primers in 300wsm
Hi John,
On Nathans advice I run CCI LR Primers in my 300 WSM, seem to work fine.
ADI 2209 powder, 180 sst , shoots about 0.6 of a inch if I pay attention.
Nathan also recomended Federal 210 LR primers, but they're as rare as hens teeth around here.
lots of this info is in Nathans Reloading book.
Hope this helps

Thanks I'll give them a try. Availability of components here is better but there's a long way to go
